Company Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs baking potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 c sour cream
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375º. Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.

In a large Dutch oven, combine potatoes with water to cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes, or until tender; drain well.

In a large bowl, combine potatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, butter, garlic salt and salt; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. (I just used a potato masher)

Spoon potato mixture into prepared baking dish; bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
