CREAMY CHICKEN LASAGNA

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Spray bottom and sides of 13x9x2 dish. Cook 12 lasagna noodles (12 oz) and while they are cooking melt 1 tbsp butter and cook 3/4 c chopped green bell pepper, 3/4 c choppped onion and stir until tender. Remove from heat and stir in 1/3 c milk, 2 cans (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup, 1/2 tsp dried basil and pepper. Place four noodels in baking dish, top with 1 c of soup mixture, 6 oz of cottage cheese, 1 1/2 c diced cooked chicken, 2/3 c mozzarella cheese and 1/3 c cheddar cheese. Repeat layers once starting wtih noodles. Place remaining four noodles over the top. Top with remaining soup mixture, mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese. Sprinktle 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese over top. Cook approx 45 minutes. I TRIED THIS 07/10 AND EVERYONE LOVED IT. IT WAS VERY GOOD. MAYBE COOK LESS THAN 45 MINUTES.
