Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 medium white onion, peeled
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red chile powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
Place the ketchup, vinegar, onion and garlic into the pitcher and blend on 1 until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and continue blending on 2 until the sauce is semi-smooth.
Transfer the sauce to a medium saucepan and simmer, stirring occasionally, over low heat for 20 minutes, or until the sauce reduces by one-third. Cover and store in the refrigerator.
