Tommys Hamburger Milk Gravy Skillet

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (90%) extra lean Ground beef or Ground turkey 3 cups (15 oz) shredded loose-packed frozen potatoes 1/2 cup (one 2.5 oz jar) sliced Mushrooms, drained 3 tbsps all purpose Flour 2 cups skim milk (I use 1%) 1 tsp dried Parsley 1/8 tsp black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, brown meat and potatoes. Stir in mushrooms.

2. In a covered jar, combine flour and milk. Shake well to blend. Pour milk mixture over meat mixture. Add parsley and black pepper. Mix gently to combine.

3. Continue cooking for 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally. Serves 4 (1 cup).

NOTE: Freezes well.
