- Bread:
- 1 box spice cake mix, plus preparation ingredients on the box
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 (15-oz) can sweet potato puree
- Icing:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
- 3 Tbsp heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F.
To make the bread, prepare the spice cake mix according to the directions on the box, stopping before the baking step. Add the cinnamon, ginger, and sweet potato puree and mix well.
Lightly grease a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the spice cake mixture into the loaf pan and bake for 45–50 minutes. Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool.
To make the icing, beat the softened cream cheese in a stand mixer until smooth. Add the marshmallow creme, heavy cream, and vanilla and mix until everything is well combined.
You can spread the icing over the top of the loaf or serve it on the side to be spread on individual slices.
