Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan mix sugar, flour, salt. Add 1 cup milk, mix smooth over heat until boil. Continue to stir & boil until smooth & thick. Remove from heat. With fork, beat eggs with remaining milk. Gradually add to hot mixture and place on heat. Bring to boil, stirring until mixture thickens. Remove from heat, stir in butter, chocolate and vanilla. Stir until chocolate is melted. Pour directly into cooked pie shell and refrigerate until set. Top with whipped topping.
