Baked rice

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1/4 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • a pinch of allspice and cinnamon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Brown rice and pasta in butter. Season with spices. Add chicken broth and water. Bring to a low boil.
Cover and bake for 20 minutes at 350.
