Sides (Asparagus & Cheese)

Ingredients

  • 1 ‑1/2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 cups crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of asparagus soup, undiluted
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 2/3 cup slivered almonds
  • 4 ounces American cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in large bowl; stir well. Pour into slow cooker. Cover; cook on HIGH 3 to 3-1/2 hours or until asparagus is tender. Garnish as desired.
