Ingredients
- Crust:
- 3 cups pecans chopped and toasted
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- Carmel Layer:
- 1/2 cup carmel sauce
- Filling:
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- Optional:
- Top with berries
Preparation
Step 1
Crust: toast pecans under broiler. Preheat oven to 325. In food processor grind pecans, sugar cinnamon and butter and process until moist crumbs form. press into bottom of removable springform pan. Bake until golden brown 20 minutes. Cool.
Spread carmel sauce over crust.
Filling: In a sauce pan bring cream to a simmer, remove from heat add chocolate and mix until all chocolate is melted . Pour over crust and chill until very firm. 4 hours or overnight.
Optional topping:
Top with fresh berries
