Hawaiian Banana Pie

  • Pastry for 9 inch 2 crust pie
  • 6 cups sliced banana ripe but firm 1 Tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup sugar 1 Tablespoon butter



Step 1

Soak bananas in pineapple juice 20-30 minutes. Drain saving juice. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Pace bananas in pastry lined pie pan. Blend sugar, flour and cinnamon, sprinkle over bananas. Add 3 Tablespoons of the pineapple juice. Dot with butter and cover with top crust. Cut slits. Seal and flute. Bake 30 to 45 minutes or until crust is browned.
