Broccoli Beef

Ingredients

  • Meat Marinade:
  • 1 1/2 lb. Flank Steak~thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 TBSP. Cornstarch
  • 1 TBSP. Soy sauce
  • 1 TBSP. Water
  • 2 TBSP. Canola oil
  • Whisk all together, place meat into
  • a large zip lock baggie and pour marinade
  • over the meat. Let chill for at least 1 hour.
  • SAUCE:
  • 1/2 C. Soy Sauce
  • 2 TBSP Brown Sugar
  • 4 Cloves Garlic~ minced
  • 2 TBSP. Flour
  • 1 TBSP. Water
  • 3 TBSP. Canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

In small bowl mix all ingredients~ set aside.
In large wok heat 2 TBSP. canola oil on med.-high heat.
Add in (2) Heads of Broccoli Crowns.
Saute for 3 minutes. Place in a bowl.
Next add the remaining oil to the wok,
place the marinated meat in and "fry" for 4 minutes.
Stirring often, add in the broccoli and the sauce.
Saute for another minute.
Serve over white rice.
