Orange Muffins

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- juice of one orange and lemon juice to make 1/2 cup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon orange rind, grated
- 1/2 cup raisins-----I use golden and I snip the little suckers in half
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped----I use walnuts

Step 1
Mix sugar and orange juice. Set aside for dipping after muffins are cooked.
Cream butter and sugar. Add sour cream alternately with the dry ingredients. Fold in orange rind, raisins and nuts. This is a stiff babber. Use well greased tiny muffin tins. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. (Let cool 4 minutes before taking them out of the pan,)
While still warm, dunk them in the sugar-orange juice mixture. Coo1 on a wire rack.
