Peanut Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp curshed red pepper
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp ketchup

Preparation

Step 1

Cook first 3 ingredients in small saucepan on medium heat 2 minutes, stirring occasionally
Mix remaining ingredients. Add to saucepan; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Cool completely.

Serve as a dipping sauce with shrimp, chicken, beef or pork skewers and spring rolls or use as a simple stir-fry sauce with fresh vegetables and noodles
