Ingredients
- Chocolate Sheet Cake Carol Dowd
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 3 1/2 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1 Cup water
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Let margarine Crisco cocoa and water come to a boil and pour over flour sugar and 1 teaspoon of soda.
Blend together then add eggs-- well beaten, 1/2 cup buttermilk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into greased sheet pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400. Frost while warm.
