Jan's Low Fat Low Calorie Creme Caramel

Ingredients

  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup egg beater
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon maple extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar (remaining from divided above)

Preparation

Step 1

Caramelize 1/4 cup sugar in heavy saucepan.

Combine other ingredients and pour into custard cups (5 or 6) over caramelized sugar. Bake in water bath 40-45 minutes. Refrigerate.
