Ingredients
- chicken - either precooked or raw breasts
- Frank's Red Hot sauce - 1 bottle
- romaine lettuce
- Renee's Mighty Caesar salad dressing
- bacon bits
- croutons
- real parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Instructions:
Chicken:
cube and fry chicken breast; OR, buy precooked chicken and dice, then put in a frying pan sprayed with Pam.
Once chicken is cooked, smother with Frank's Red Hot sauce, cook over medium heat until chicken absorbs hot sauce, about 10 minutes.
Caesar Salad:
Cut up romaine lettuce, place in salad bowl, mix with Renee's Mighty Caesar salad dressing.
It HAS to be Renee's MIGHTY CAESAR. if you don't have any Renee's, you can put the caesar dressing you do have in a bowl and mix with a spoonful or two of minced garlic and some pepper.
Add bacon bits - real is best, real from a package is okay, and simulated bacon bits will do.
Add croutons. The Fresh Gourmet croutons in a bag are the best, not too hard but nice and light. Any flavor will work.
Add lots of real parmesan cheese. The grated powder stuff is horrible, but will work. You can buy a $20 bag of grated real parmesan cheese from Stanton's and keep the leftover in the freezer for up to 6 months, and use it on lasagna or spaghetti.
Make the caesar salad and top with hot chicken when ready to serve.
Enjoy!
