spicy cranberry jam
will fill four one cup jars
- 1 1/2 lbs. cranberries (about 7 cups)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 jalapeno finely diced and julienned
Rinse and drain cranberried. Bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add cranberries, sugar and jalapeno; simmer until skins pop and mixture thickens. About 15 minutes for thickening. Transfer to metal bowl to cool. Fill jars. Store in refrigerator!
