Mimi's Green Cabbage

I tried this one day and it turned out really good, I think the key was letting the onions caramelize.
Even if you don't eat bacon it's still good.

Ingredients
- 1 head green cabbage
- 1 med-large yellow onion
- 2 - 3 slices bacon lardons (I used thick cut black peppered bacon)
- olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- Ms. Dash Original (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)

Step 1
1. Cut and wash cabbage.
2. Using olive oil - cook bacon lardons and sauté onions together until slightly caramelized. **
3. While adding small amounts of cabbage and stir frying as you go add brown sugar, soy sauce, and other seasonings.
4. Continue to cook until tender.
** To caramelize onions, let onions slow cook until golden caramel color.
