Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 T. vanilla
- 2 T. cream
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening with sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and cream. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to mixture of sugar and shortening. Shape into 2 mounds, wrap in plastic and chill. Roll on floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut cookies and bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
