Cheesecake - Dear Abby's

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup powdered sugar
• 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1 stick butter
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 3 packages cream cheese (8 oz. ea), softened
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4 eggs
• 1 pint sour cream
• 1 can prepared pie filling

Preparation

Step 1

Crust: Melt butter and add to graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Line the bottom of a spring form pan, packing firmly.

Filling: Combine sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and eggs. Pour mixture into the unbaked crust in the spring form pan and bake at 350 degree for approximately 50 minutes. Do not turn off oven. Remove cheese cake and top with one pint commercial sour cream and return to oven for another five minutes, let cake cool. Top with one can prepared pie filling or topping. Chill overnight.
