Ingredients
- 3 cups milk
- 4 eggs
- 4 yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Carmel Sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Scald 3 cups milk
Beat 4 eggs and 4 yolks and 1/2 cup sugar until light and lemon colored. Add milk stirring constantly. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour into buttered custard cups or baking dish. Set cups in pan of water bake at 325 for 45-50 minutes. Little cups 25 minutes.
Carmel Sauce:
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
Melt sugar slowly adding water gradually. Cook until brown.
