  • 1/2 pound bacon
  • 2 large cans Van Camps Pork and Beans
  • 2 large onions
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried mustard
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup catsup



Step 1

In electric fry pan, cook bacon, which has been cut into small pieces. Remove to plate and add chopped onion to bacon grease and cook until soft. Drain grease and add ground chuck and cook until it loses it's pink color. Add everything but Park and Beans to beef. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder and simmer for 30 minutes or so covered. Add beans and maybe some chopped onion and heat through just before serving.
