Mushroon Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 t. basil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. breadcrumbs
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 t. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl combine cornstarch and consomme until smooth. Stir in mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, and basil, set aside. In another bowl, combine egg, breadcrumbs, onion, seasoned salt, and pepper. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties.

Bake 350 for 30 minutes. Pour consomme over patties, bake 30 minutes.
