Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup plus 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teasp. salt
- 1 teasp van
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 cup plus 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 teasp. baking powder
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
Preparation
Step 1
Pre heat oven 350 degrees
Grease 8" square pan
Cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar. Add salt, van then add egg yolks. Beat until creamy. Combine 1 1/2 cups flour and baking powder. Add alternately with milk to egg yolk mixture. Beat egg whites until soft adding 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tbsp. at a time and beat until stiff. Coat berries with 1 Tbsp. flour and add to batter. Fold in egg whites. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle top with remaining Tablespoon of sugar.
Bake for 50 mins
