  • 1 short crust recipe
  • 3 lemons
  • 3 oz. melted butter
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 6 med eggs



Step 1

Bake crust in a 400 F oven in a 9 inch tart pan for 15 to 20 mins.
Cool oven to 250 F.
Whisk together the juice and zest of the lemons, melted butter,sugar and eggs. Pour into the prepared crust and bake for 20 to 25 mins. Remove from the oven when the custard has set, but is still a bit wobbly in the centre. Cool completely and dust with icing sugar to serve.
