Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6-8 chicken breasts
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 7 marinade ingredients in a bowl. In a shallow pyrex dish toss the chicken breasts with the marinade to coat completely. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
Combine all the ingredients for the glaze and set it aside, covered. Cook the chicken over hot coals for 5-6 minutes per side. Remove from grill, wrap in aluminum foil, and grill it for 5 minutes more. Remove foil packet from heat and brush each piece with the glaze on both sides. Return the unwrapped pieces to the grill for 2 more minutes without turning. Serve.
