Shirley's M-M-M Chili

Ingredients

  • 5 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can non-alcohol beer
  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp dried cilantro
  • 3 cans chili beans
  • Package vegetarian Griller crumbles, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Cook minced garlic in olive oil 30 seconds. Blend 1 can diced tomatoes in blender then add all diced tomatoes to garlic mixture along with tomato sauce, non-alcohol beer, macaroni, mustard, chili powder, oregano, cilantro and chili beans.

Boil and simmer to cook macaroni. Add browned package Griller crumbles if desired. Good with or without crumbles. Makes a large batch.
