- 1 c sugar
- 1 c light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 c peanut butter
- 7 cups Special K cereal
- 8 oz butterscotch chips
- 8 oz chocolate chips
- Note: You can use all butterscotch or all chocolate chips.
Place sugar and corn syrup in saucepan and bring to a rolling boil.
Remove from heat and add peanut butter.
Place cereal in large buttered bowl.
Pour syrup mixture over cereal and mix well.
Press into large cookie sheet pan with 1/2 inch sides.
Frost with chip mixture that has been melted over hot water or in the microwave.
Cut into bars.
