Garlic Roasted Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 (2-1/2- to 3-pound) chicken, cut into eighths
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 head garlic, unpeeled and cut crosswise into 3 slices, broken up

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°. Coat 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray. Place chicken in baking dish; set aside.

In small bowl, combine oil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and paprika; mix then set aside.

Distribute garlic over chicken then cover with oil mixture, distributing evenly over chicken.

Roast 50 to 60 minutes, or until chicken is golden and no pink remains, turning occasionally. Discard garlic before serving.
