ColeSlaw for Freezing

Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 1 Med head cabbage shredded
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1/4 C water
  • 1 C vinegar
  • 2 C sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix salt with cabbage and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze excess moisture and mix in carrots and peppers

Dressing:
Put all ingredients in pot and boil for 1 minute.
Cool and pour over slaw and freeze
Left overs can be refrozen
