Ingredients

  • 2 12-oz pork chops
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 Tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp toasted seasame oil
  • 2 fresh jalapeno chili peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Trim fat from pork. Place prok in a resealable plastic bag set in a shallow dish.

2. For marinade, in a small bowl combine honey, soy sauce, seasame oil, the shopped jalapeno peppers, giner, and crushed red pepper.

3. Pour marinade over pork. Seal bag, turn to coat.

4. Marinate in the fridge for at least 12 hours or up to 24 hours, turning bag occasionally.

5. Drain pork, reserving marinade.

6. Place pork on grill. Grill for 40 to 50 minutes or until juices run clear, brushing once with reserved marinade after 15 minutes of grilling.

7. Remoce and cover pork with foil. Let stand for 15 minutes before slicing.

OVEN DIRECTIONS: Place pork on a rack in a roasting pan. Roast in a 425 degree F oven for 25 to 35 minutes or until juices run clear, brushing once with reserved marinade after 10 minutes of roasting. Remove and cover with foil. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
