Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. butter
  • 1/4 lb. of bacon strips
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 3 oz. parmesan
  • Salt and white pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter. Add bacon and brown lightly. Add onions and cook until translucent. In another pot, cook spaghetti until still slightly chewy. Add noodles to skillet. Mix eggs and milk and add to spaghetti. Heat thoroughly. Add cheese and chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper. Place in a warm dish and garnish with tomatoes and partly sprigs.

Serve with a green salad, chilled wine, and fresh fruit for dessert.
