Vietnamese Shrimp with Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients

  • For sauce:
  • 250 grams fresh shrimps, peeled and cut off heads
  • 1 white part of egg
  • 70 grams corn flour/corn starch
  • 50 grams roasted almond/ peanut/ walnuts
  • small amount of oil for stir-fry
  • 1 teaspoon condensed milk, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 – 2 teaspoons lemon juices, 6 teaspoons mayonnaise.
  • Make hot rice according to rice directions

Step 1

Process:

Step 1: you should use paper napkin to absorb all water from shrimp. Mix shrimp with stirred egg (white part) added a little salt. Let set about 5 minutes.

Step 2: Mix all ingredients for making sauce together. Next, put it into fridge.


Step 3: Next, roll shrimp through corn flour/corn starch. Make sure flour can cover all faces of shrimps.

Step 4: Fry shrimp in the hot oil until they turn brown yellow. Next, put shrimp on paper towel to oil.


Step 5: Then, Heat sauce mixture in same pan, when hot mix in shrimp.


Step 6: When shrimp are coated with sauce add the nuts and mix well.

Serve over hot rice
