Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 2 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 2 pound browned cubed beef chuck
- 2 peeled chopped tomatoes
- 1 large onion in chunks
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 2 Tablespoons parsley
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups cubed pared potato I use red
- 1 cup pared carrots
- 1 10 ounce package frozen peas.
Preparation
Step 1
Brown flour in melted butter. Gradually stir in beef broth. Add Tabasco. Simmer stirring constantly until sauce thickens and comes to a boil.
Add beef chuck 3 cups of water, tomatoes, onion celery parsley and salt. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is almost tender. Add 2 cups cubed pared potatoes, 1 cup sliced pared carrot, 1 10 ounce package frozen peas and cook 30 minutes more.
