PUMPKIN PIE (Grandma Seemann)

Ingredients

  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • Brown sugar and white sugar to make 3/4 cup total
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 can (13 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves

Preparation

Step 1


Beat eggs and sugar. Add pumpkin and milk.

Add flour mixed with salt and spices. Beat well.

Pour into 9” pastry shell. Sprinkle with 3 Tablespoons chopped pecans.

Bake 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 325 degrees for 40 minutes or until done.
