Ingredients
- 8 oz. uncooked linguine, broken into thirds
- 1 1/2 cups frozen sweet peas
- 3/4 cup refrigerated light Alfredo sauce
- 1/4 cup fat-free half and half or skim milk
- 1 lb. shelled deveined cooked medium shrimp
- 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In large saucepan, cook linguine to desired doneness as directed on package, adding peas during last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking time. Pour into colander to drain.
In same saucepan over low heat, combine Alfredo sauce, half and half, shrimp, basil and pepper; mix well.
Add cooked linguine and peas; cook 2 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly.
