Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup oil or butter
  • 6 cups+ warm water
  • 10 cups flour
  • 1 //4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups powdered milk
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 6 Tablespoons yeast
  • flour - 10-12 cups

Put eggs, oil/butter, and water in mixer bowl.

Combine flour, sugar, milk powder, salt, and yeast and add to the liquids. Mix at medium speed for 3 minutes, using the whisk attachment.

Use the mixer's dough hook for the remainder of this recipe.

Gradually add sufficient flour to form a soft dough (just enough flour for the dough to clear the mixer bowl). Mix at medium speed for 10 minutes.

Place dough in a greased bowl in a warm place to rise until doubled in bulk. Knead down and let rest for 10 minutes. Shape into loaves and place in greased pans (9x5x3). Let rise until double in size.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until nicely browned.
