Bran Muffins

Ingredients

  • Cream:
  • 1/2 Pound Crisco (Grandma used) or Butter
  • 3 Cups White Sugar
  • 4 Well Beaten Eggs
  • Add:
  • 1 Quart of Buttermilk
  • Sift:
  • 5 Cups Flour
  • 3 Tablespoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • Add:
  • 4 Cups Kellogs Bran Flakes

Preparation

Step 1

Mix lfakes and flour into creamed mixture
Pour 2 cups boiling water over 2 cups nabisco all bran
Add to mixture with 2 cups raisins
Mix well and store in fridge
DO NOT bake first day
Use medium paper baking cups
Mixture can be stored as as 6 weeks in fridge
Yields about 7 1/2 dozen average size

Bake 15 - 20 Minutes @ 375
