Waldorf Slaw

Everyone will love this tangy salad that's easily made ahead.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. pkg coleslaw mix.
  • 2 cup Braeburn apples, cored, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Bartlett pears, cored, peeled and chopped
  • 1.2 cup raisins
  • 3 Tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Combine coleslaw, apples, pears, raisins and walnuts in a large bowl; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well with a whisk.
Drizzle mayonnaise mixture over coleslaw mixture and toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
