Hot Butter Rum

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1/2 lb brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb powdered sugar
  • 1 pint french vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Soften ice cream until pourable consistency. In bowl soften butter at room temperature and beat in brown sugar and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in ice cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Fill mugs 2/3 full with hot water, 3 tbsp batter and 1 1/4 oz rum.
