Ingredients
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 1/2 c chopped green pepper
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 c chopped carrots
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
- 3/4 c white wine or chicken broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 t dried oregano
- 1/4 t dried basil
- 1/4 t pepper
- 3/4 lb salmon fillets, skinned and cut into 3/4 inch cubes
- 1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and devined

Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan, sauté the onion, green pepper, andparsley in oil until tender. Add the carrots and garlic, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomatoes, wine or broth, and seasonings. Bring to a boil reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in salmon and shrimp. Cover and cook 7-10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork and shrimp turn pink. Discard bay leaf. 6 servings 1 c 212 calories.
