Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups Nabisco 100% Bran
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup wesson oil
  • 1 quart buttermild
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 teaspoons soda
  • 4 cups Kelloggs All Bran

Preparation

Step 1

Pour water over 100% Bran. Cream oil and sugar. Add buttermilk, eggs, hot bran. Add flour, salt, soda, All Bran and mix.

Keep in airtight containers in refrigerator. Bake in well greased, floured muffin pans. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Do not over bake. Nuts, raisins or dates may be added when ready to bake. Will keep 4 to 7 weeks.
