Mardi Gras Salad ***

Ingredients

  • 1 can peas (petite)
  • 1 can French style green beans
  • 1 1/2 c diced celery
  • 1 green pepper diced
  • 1 small jar chopped pimento
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 Tablespoon salt
  • 3/4 cup vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Drain juices from beans peas and pimento. Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl with cover. Let marinate in covered bowl in refrigerator at least 12 hours.
