Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups oats, uncooked
- 12 oz. (2 cups) butterscotch morsels
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until
light and fluffy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch chips.
Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheets.
Bake 375 for 7-8 minutes for chewier cookies. Bake for 9-8 minutes for crispier cookies.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
For pan cookie:
Spread the batter into a 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
Cool: cut into 35 2 inch squares.
