Creamed Spinach Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/2 medium onion finely chopped
- 3 large garlic gloves minced
- 3 10oz package chopped frozen spinach thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 oz cream cheese room temp
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 large egg beaten
- 3/4 cup panko
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 2 tbsp. butter

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven 350* and spray a 9 inch square baking pan
2. In skillet warm oil over medium high heat
a. Add onion and sauté until tender (3 minutes)
b. Add garlic and continue to cook stirring 2 minutes
3. In large bowl combine spinach, onion mixture, sour cream, cream cheese, milk, Gruyere, nutmeg, salt and pepper until thoroughly mixed. 4. Stir in egg and pour into baking dish.
5. in small bowl combine panko and parmesan. Add butter and mix well
6. Scatter panko mix over spinach
7. Bake uncovered until light gold brown and set (40 minutes)
