Ingredients
- CAKE
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cups butter, room temp
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- BUTTER SAUCE
- 6 tbls butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tbls water
- 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
1. Pre heat over to 325. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
2. Cream butter and sugar in food processor. Add rest of cake ingredients and blend until moistened. Beat an additional 2-3 minutes. Pour batter into prepared cake pan and bake for 60-70 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, prepare sauce. In a small saucepan, combine ingredients and heat until butter melts. Do not bring mixture to a boil.
4. When cake is cooked, remove from oven and with a fork, pierce hot cake 10-12 times. Slowly pour hot butter sauce over cake. Cool in pan 30-40 minutes. Remove from pan and serve.
