Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cup shortening (or use 1/2 butter)
- 2 cup white sugar
- 2 cup brown sugar
- 6 cup flour (or use 4 cup flour, & 2 2/3 cup oatmeal)
- 4 eggs
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 12oz. bag chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°.
Cream sugars,eggs,shortening (or shortening & butter), & vanilla together.
Mix in the rest of the ingredients, except chocolate chips.
Blend well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheet.
Bake 7-8 minutes....cookies will be soft, & not quite set
