Potato Puppies

I developed this recipe and it has become a great change from French fries or mashed potatoes! Easy and tasty...

Ingredients

• 2 TBS Butter
• 1 Onion Diced
• 1 TBS Minced Garlic
• 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
• 2 Eggs
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 1/4 tsp Pepper
• 5 Cups STIFF Instant Potatoes (STIFF is important, too loose and they will fall apart in the fryer)
• 1/4 tsp Baking Powder

Step 1

1-Sautee onions and garlic until tender
2-Mix all ingredients
3-Make hushpuppy sized balls and deep fry until crisp and golden brown
4-Salt and serve
