Bacon Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of Bacon
  • 1 pound lean (80%) ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4oz)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick original
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven 400. Spray 9 inch glass pie plate.
2. Cook bacon in a 10 inch fry pan medium heat - 5-7 minutes, turning once. Drain on paper towel. Crumble bacon and set aside
3. In same skillet, cook beef, pepper, onion over medium heat 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until beef is thoroughly cooked. Drain and stir in ketchup. Spread in pie plate and sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits
4.In medium bowl mix the milk, Bisquick and eggs. Mix until blended with a whisk and pour into pie plate.
5. Bake 20-25 min or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
6. Serve. use extra ketchup if desired.
