Chili Lime Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 roasted green chilis (peeled, seeded, and diced)- or 1 small can
- Juice of 2 large limes and zest of one
- 1 large bell pepper (any color), seeded and cut into strips
- 1 bunch of asparagas, cut into large sections
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 T. chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 T. green chili powder
- 2 t. ground cumin
- 2 t. Mexican oregano (or regular)
- salt and pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In a large sauce pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and saute for 2 minutes. Add garlic, chicken and other spices and cook until chicken browns. Add the rest of the ingredients and cover pan with lid. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring in between.
